I wrapped my my 6 weeks of teaching the "little kids" and although I was mighty intimidated at first, I grew to love their spirit and complete lack of judgement about their painting. They just jumped right in. I am currently in the middle of another 6 week class of 3rd through 5th graders. They are also great, though a little more critical of their own work. This is the "big kids" class.
I stapled burlap to paint canvases for a rustic effect and brought in real fruit and pumpkins for them to use as examples.
Lovely cornucopias were brought home by all!
